Senator Ide is THE Choice to Protect Your Private Property Rights

As a constituent of SD 29, I supported Senator Ide in 2022 and he will have my support again this election.

My family has benefitted greatly from his efforts to lower property taxes.

When I commented something similar to this in response to a post candidate Lisa Engebretsen made on her Facebook page, this was her response:

"A consumption tax and a transfer tax does not benefit people who cannot afford to buy a home. This will add an additional burden to those who are struggling to make ends meet. They are being punished becuase you want cheaper property tax. Explain how that is fair?"

Many property owners are also struggling to make ends meet-especially those on fixed incomes. Should they be punished for the mere fact they were able to purchase property?

How is that fair?

Even with the current property tax relief programs, the property taxes continue to rise along with the costs of property tax insurance, heat, lights, and water. Most property owners are by no means living high on the hog.

This attitude toward property owners - that we aren't paying our "fair share" - is just one of the many reasons why I support Senator Ide in his reelection. I have the utmost confidence he will continue to fight to protect my freedoms and tax dollars.
